Facebook Tag: 10 Books

Wednesday, September 03, 2014

I love me a good tag. Nothing does justice to one like Blogger. It's 2007 and we're all tagging each other- except it's 2014 and the party's on Facebook. Everyone's list has so much fluff and crap that I understand why piracy industry for books in India flourishes. That's pretty much all they get to read here.

So, a whole lot of friends, family and acquaintances tagged me and like a total Snob, I carried forward this to my blog, cause not everyone needs to know my business and those who'd like, will have me personalize it for them on my blog.

I was challenged by- The Birthday Twin, Martin Freeman's Fiance, Awkward Architect, The Cousin Extraordinaire and The Most Interesting Number Cruncher (you all know who you are).

The 10 books that stayed with me for these years:

1) Fahrenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury
2) The Stranger - Albert Camus
3) Master of the Game - Sidney Sheldon
4) Be Careful What You Wish For (Goosebumps) - R L Stine [Failed a math exam next day cause I couldn't get over the brilliance of R L Stine and consequently, read all that money could buy].
5) The Best Thing That Can Happen To A Croissant - Pablo Tusset
6) Norwegian Wood - Haruki Murakami
7) What We Talk About When We Talk About Love - Raymond Carver
8) The Garden of Earthly Delights - Indrajit Hazra
9) The Dying Animal - Philip Roth
10) Jahan Chaah Wahan Raah - Orison Swett Marden [Hindi adaptation, what a stunning book].

I'd like to tag Mooshiepeas, Virgo Blonde Twin, Madeline, Kneethee; although I'm completely aware of how none of these guys would give in to such a fad.

Things you do to keep your blog running.
