Measuring Spoon/Shit I talk about when I talk about Love

The eternal answer to all the questions of the Universe might be 42, and Carrie might find her answers, post after post in The New York Star. My little savant has always been the internet. It spews out answers to life's mysteries, people, theories; pretty much everything that has bothered me to date, has come out in words, facts, photographs or mere signifiers on the internet on it's own and that, brings us upto date.

Again, this is from Mooshiepeas Tumblr. Incase you haven't seen her page yet, please hop on. It's the nicest compilation of images and words off the internet, like a well curated art gallery. Fuck yes, Tumblr!

"There is always one person you love who becomes that definition. It usually happens retrospectively, but it happens eventually. This is the person who unknowingly sets the template for what you will always love about other people, even if some of these lovable qualities are self-destructive and unreasonable. The person who defines your understanding of love is not inherently different than anyone else, and they’re often just the person you happen to meet the first time you really, really, want to love someone. But that person still wins. They win, and you lose. Because for the rest of your life, they will control how you feel about everyone else."
