Yesterday I found out that most of my current friends in Delhi are unaware of the phenomena which shows up on every writer's (well, most) bucket list (if they're not already living in one): barsati

I've harboured a desire to live in ever since I was 16 and realised the gorgeous house on my way to school was actually a writer's barsati. Ofcourse, given the fact, I am a student researcher, I can't afford myself a SDBM space for myself. However, most of rural India can afford to take selfies with their children on their iPhone 6, if Digital India's reportage is to be believed.
