What a lovely way to burn

Tuesday, March 27, 2012

That moment when you step inside your room and see books all around. You keep your copy of
'What I do when I talk about Running' back to the pile of messy books behind the ancient bed.

Then, glance sideways to see amplifier and bass at one corner. Possibly travel in time and think of the bad gig, good rehearsal in the same moment almost surreal. Think of the good times in both the cases and then think some more about the gig. And maybe about next jam and how soon your last performance at college auditorium is scheduled to be. You travel back and forth in time without realising that your movement has merely been from the bed post to the door.

You know you're at home.
